Mythical Queen who was the cause of the Trojan war

Helen, the central protagonist in Homer's Iliad, was a figure buffeted by the desires of men and the conflicts of kingdoms. My struggle with capturing her essence in painting was intense; after all, she is remembered as the woman whose beauty launched a thousand ships. The pressure of depicting the most beautiful woman alive was immense. I painted and repainted her countless times before finally conceding. In the end, I realized that beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder, and sometimes, it's best to accept the imperfections in our artistic expressions.
