Native American chief

tecumseh_sm

Tecumseh, a Shawnee chief born in Ohio, was a formidable leader and one of the most significant figures in Native American resistance against westward expansion by European settlers. Recognizing the threat to indigenous lands and cultures, he worked tirelessly to form a confederacy of various Native American tribes to resist encroachment. During the War of 1812, Tecumseh garnered support and encouragement from the British, who sought to ally with him in their struggle against the United States. His leadership and vision left a lasting legacy in the history of Native American resistance.

I do my intaglio prints at a wonderful print shop on Cleveland's east side called Zygote Press.
